| Getting inspiration from living, working and playing beneath Table Mountain and from the Atlantic and Indian oceans that converge off our spectacular coastline. Our products are, in part, a reflection of our abundant enthusiasm for the African outdoors and this makes them unique. But in essence, all our gear and clothing is appealing, functional, innovative and always of the highest quality. |

So, where does the name CAPESTORM come from ?

| Well, to be honest it's a fusion of Cape Town and the Cape of Storms. |

| How did it all start and what is our philosophy ? |
| |
|
|
| A per chance meeting on a rock face in the Cederberg Mountains in 1996 led to a handshake and a commitment. A year later climbing friends became business colleagues and an African dream was born. Like many fledgling operations, CAPESTORM began operating from a garage on a shoestring budget.
For the first few years we manufactured ideas and sold dreams. We still dream today but now we manufacture the best technical apparel on the continent, and our ideas continually give rise to innovation.
